Packing

Don't you just hate packing your suitcase? I do. It's the downside of making a journey.
How do you go about packing? Are you organised? Do you have a checklist? Do you start early (ie a couple of days or so ahead)?
My 'system' is the following:

leave until the very last minute before departure. Grab a few items from wardrobe, nick son's t-shirt, throw into suitcase. Done. Enjoy your holiday even if you've forgotten something. You will survive. :-D
